Faxempfang mit Patton 4960 FW 5.4

Hallo,

wir bekommen den Faxempfang in der V7 mit dem Patton Gateway nicht geregelt. Eine eingehende Verteilung greift die *90 als Faxdurchwahl ab und hat als Ziel das Default-Fax-Zie unter 888. Im Log ist auch ersichtlich das diese Route genommen wird.

Warum kommt die Faxkommunikation nicht zu stande? Ist die Konfiguration im Patton nicht ok oder in der 3CX?

Hallo,

ich habe die Config ausschließlich von der 3cx generieren lassen. Ich kenne mich mit der Konfiguration von dem Patton auch nicht wirklich aus. Ich gehe davon aus das die Einstellung "fax transmission relay t38-udp" alle Faxanrufe an die 3CX durchroutet und der Faxserver dann seinen Job macht.

Du hast ja wesentlich mehr Einstellungen für das Fax eingetragen. Ist 3CX damit in der Lage alle Faxanrufe zu empfangen? Wie kann ich die entsprechenden Einträge am besten in meine Config übernehmen?

Faxempfang geht nur in der FW. 5.3-5-18 (SIP)
Patton hat danach mal wieder was geändert und uns mal wieder es nicht mitgeteilt.
Wir prüfen das gerade, bis dahin bitte nur die oben genannte Version nutzen.

Gut wäre hier auch eine Info an die Partner. Damit wir beim Kunden nicht die falsche Firmware einspielen oder wir den Kunden zumindest informieren können.

In dem How to steht ganz oben folgendes:

IMPORTANT This device has been tested for Fax and Voice using firmware 'Smartware 5.3 Build Series 2009-03-18' versions available from https://patton.com/support/upgrades/

Dort steht nichts von Mai, Juli oder 5.4.
Wir werden nun uns aber direkt an 5.4 machen und die restlichen 5.3 Versionen Updaten.
Ich sticke den Post und werden das go geben wenn es läuft.
Es wird neue Template dazu geben müssen!

Nachtrag:

Die Firmware ist jetzt die R5.3 2009-03-18 H323 RBS SIP und sollte ja funktionieren. In der 3CX wird aber nach wie vor jede Faxsendung als "media negotiation failed" abgeworfen. Eine Weiterleitung an ein an die Fritz!Box angeschlossenes Faxgerät signalisiert auch den Call, es kommt jedoch auch keine Kommunikation zustande. Über eine S0 Weiterleitung an Tobit über die Fritz!Box haben wir ebenfalls keinen Erfolg.

Die Calls werden einfach nicht als Faxanruf erkannt und weitergeleitet.

Hat noch jemand eine Idee oder Lösungshinweis? Jetzt geht erst einmal die alten Anlage wieder online.

endlich hatten wir Erfolg. Nach Einspielen des Faxpatches für 3CX konnten Faxe empfangen werden. Keine Ahnung warum wir diesen Patch nicht früher gefunden haben. Hier sind die Informationen dazu: https://www.3cx.com/voip-gateways/

Hallo,

dank diesem Patch kann ich jetzt wenigstens schon die Faxe empfangen
...nur bei ausgehenden Faxen an ein Brother MFC-8460 kommt immer noch ein Fehler.

Selbst die weiterleitung an die entsprechende Mail-Adresse funktioniert.
