Hello,
I am facing the challenge in one department of a customer that the team would like to have an emergency alarm that can be triggered via a speed dial key or BLF key.
If someone presses this key in their office, for example because a client loses self-control or becomes aggressive, the alarm should be presented in all other offices in such a way that a distinctive ringtone is played first. In addition, the display should show something like the group name "Emergency Alert" followed by the name of the person who triggered the alarm.
Unfortunately, I have not been able to find a suitable solution so far. Even 3CX Support could not provide an appropriate option. Within the SNOM phones, I have only found the possibility to change the general ringtone and the hold tone, but not to define a specific ringtone for such an emergency event.
In addition, the emergency group I created does make all phones ring, but I can either configure the phones to display the caller's name, as with a normal internal call, or the group name. What I absolutely need, however, is both pieces of information. The other users must immediately be able to see on the display that the emergency group has been activated and who activated it, so they can provide assistance as quickly as possible.
Do any of you have experience with this kind of requirement, or any ideas on where to look within the 3CX system or what settings could be adjusted to achieve this? It sounds quite simple in theory, but technically it appears to be a significant challenge.
I would appreciate any suggestions and would like to thank you in advance for any advice or ideas.
kind regards,
André
