Snom M900 - M80 Ringtone for Group

Hi Guys,

is it possible to change the default Ringtone for Ringing Groups ?
You can change the Internal Call Ringtones without any Problem but the Ringing Group keeps staying on Ringtone1.

If you disable the Distinctive Ringing on the M900 all Calls are using the Ringtone configured on the M80 but the customer wants to have different Ringtones for Internal and External.

We are using a M900 Multicell system and only M80 DECT Phones.

the only option currently available is a different ringtone for queue calls...
So instead of sending the calls to a ringgroup, use queues and problem solved.

Problem is i dont have normal IP Phones, just the M900 with M80 Phones, so i dont have the settings on the User.

I was just informed about the following:

Calls use the “Alert-Info” ringer, this setting is hardcoded in the MXXX device.

Unfortunately, 3CX does not allow you to change the SIP-Header information to influence this behavior.

According to Snom’s documentation, the M900 base station allows you to enable or disable remote ringtone control:

• If remote ringtone control is enabled:
  All external calls will ring with Melody 1, while all other calls will use the ringtone you’ve set on the handset.
  
  
• If remote ringtone control is disabled:
  All calls - internal & external - will use the ringtone configured on the handset.

However, this setting can only be changed manually on the device itself; it cannot be set or managed remotely via provisioning.

Is there any chance that this is possible in the Future ? (To change the SIP-Header) or something like that ?
It is very annoying for the customer to have the badest ringtone that exists for all external incomming calls.

Also it is very sad todisable the ringtone control and loose the function to heare if its internal or external....
