One of our German customers is migrating too one of our 3CX PBX'es and has German telephone numbers with virtual extensions.
So for example, he has 3x 10-block of numbers 02872 1111 0
In Germany apparently they use virtual extensions so for instance a customer can call to the number 028721111 01, and they will be routed to a digital receptionist. This is one digit longer then the actual number blocks, but in the old openscape pbx it is possible to configure this.

Now the customer wants to migratie too 3cx, but I don't know if there is a way to configure this in 3CX.
I was thinking of maybe routing the numbers in the block to users with exception forwarding rules. But even if I do this, with V20 coming this feature will no longer be available and thus this will not work anymore.
Is there any way that we can configure this in a 3cx v20 PBX ?

I hope to hear from you guys shortly!

Hi

This has nothing to do with virtual direct dialing or virtual extensions at Easybell. The extended extensions also work this way.

For example, if the SIP trunk contains numbers 9498 00 to 29, you create a DID *9498200, an incoming rule for it (above all other incoming rules that start with *94982..) and this works. It matches first.

You can't just use the two-digit number pad as an extension. You can dial more numbers. The provider signals this and the 3CX recognizes it.
